Terms of Service

1. Service Description

The CAM License Study Program ("Service") is an SMS-based educational service operated by Florida CAM Study that provides practice questions for the Community Association Manager (CAM) license exam. The Service sends multiple-choice questions via SMS and provides feedback on answers.

2. Eligibility

To use this Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid US mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS messages
  • Provide accurate information when subscribing

3. SMS Terms and Conditions

3.1 Consent Requirements

By subscribing to the Service, you explicitly consent to receive SMS messages from Florida CAM Study. You must provide this consent before receiving any messages.

3.2 Opt-In Procedures

You may opt in to the Service by:

  • Completing the subscription form at cam.web-gne.com/sms-opt-in
  • Sending START to our SMS number from your phone

3.3 Opt-Out Procedures

You may opt out at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message
  • Visiting cam.web-gne.com/unsubscribe
  • Contacting [email protected]

Upon opt-out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

3.4 Message Frequency

Subscribers receive up to 3 SMS messages per day for 30 days (approximately 90 total questions). Additional messages include answer feedback, subscription confirmations, and help responses.

3.5 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and service plan. We do not charge any fees for the Service. Check with your carrier for details on your messaging plan.

3.6 Carrier Limitations

We are not responsible for:

  • Delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues
  • Messages blocked by your carrier or phone settings
  • Technical failures outside our control

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate phone number information
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to disrupt or abuse the Service
  • Not share, copy, or redistribute the study questions

5. Intellectual Property

All study questions, explanations, and content provided through the Service are owned by Florida CAM Study and protected by copyright. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute the content
  • Use the content for commercial purposes
  • Modify or create derivative works from the content

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF CONTENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Using the Service will result in passing the CAM exam
  • All information provided is accurate or complete

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROBERT RYAN CAM STUDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or messages
  • Carrier charges or fees
  • Failure to pass the CAM exam
  • Any other damages arising from the Service

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Florida CAM Study from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse or misuse of the Service
  • Any other reason at our discretion

Upon termination, you will be unsubscribed from SMS messages and your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via SMS or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
